Every year, we have a privilege to bring volunteers to the jungle to meet the Grefa family, community Rio Blanco and learn about life in the jungle as it used to be and as is nowadays.

The trip is meant mainly for the those who want to help local community and add give their hand. It is also an excellent opportunity to seek active rest from the daily busy lives and “our” civilization, as well as get to know the beauty of the Amazon real close. If the trip calls you and you have at least a little bit of an adventurous spirit, this is format is a unique opportunity to experience everyday life in jungle from a different perspective then just like a tourist.

Usually several weeks in January and February

The initial date is a day when we meet in Tena and the last date is the day we say goodby at the same place. Travel to Ecuador, or Tena, respectively, is covered by the volunteers themselves (i.e flight ticket and bus to Tena from the Airport). If you need accommodation Tena the day before or after, we recommend Hostel Limoncocha www.hostallimoncocha.com.  It is about 4 blocks from the local bus station and supermarket Tia. Taxi to the hostel cost about 1 USD. Accomodation costs 8-10 USD and is not included in the price of the stay.
